DEN AND PACK MEETINGS
Each month, Cub Scouts meet twice with their Den and once all together in a Pack Meeting. Den Meetings are a time to earn requirements for their rank (Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, WEBELOS) and have fun doing it. Den Meetings are designed not to have the look and feel of a classroom.
Pack Meetings are a time of entertainment, rank advancement ceremonies, and sharing with the Pack what the Dens have accomplished.

Adult Leaders and Parent Involvement
The Boy Scout program is boy-led and develops leadership skills. Cub Scouts, on the other hand, requires primarily Adult Leaders and Parent Involvement. This is a great way for parents and sons to learn, explore, and develop a deep and respectful relationship. Parents are Akela - the Scout's Mentor / Guide, just like the animals guide Mowgli in the Jungle Book. There are a ton of resources and training opportunities available to you. Troop 388 is also available to assist as well. |
